Machinery — Kluge

The German company KLUGE is the manufacturer and developer of a patented heating element with a nozzle arrangement for laser edge processing.

KLUGE has integrated this technology, among other things, into its small mobile edge banding machine HIT-M for edge banding straight edges, bevelled edges, and all shaped parts.

Kluge HIT-M 65 SA

Zero Joint Hand Edgebander

A portable edgebander for applying and gluing any commercially available “laser edge” (co-extruded, post coated) tape for the production of a zero joint.

The system can be used as a portable unit or installed in a stationary setup and can process straight, bevelled (up to 55°), curved and round panel materials and moulded parts.

When combined with the BAT machining table, the mobile edgebander becomes a stationary system.

With pneumatically assisted angle adjustment and with 42 plastic ball rollers for variable positioning.

Included is a vacuum injector for vacuum generation with a swivelling round vacuum plate (Ø160mm) for the reworking of workpieces.

The table top size is approximately 700 x 400mm with a working height of approximately 1000mm.

Technical Specifications

  • For edge thickness of 0.4 to 3.0mm and panel thickness between 10 and 65mm
  • Minimum inside radius is 10mm
  • Heating time is only 30 seconds
